  1. Wow. I'm used to hearing Arlo and Sara Guthrie sing this song (and they do it proud) but being one of Pete's younger fans, I don't think I've ever heard this before. Thanks for posting!

  2. I grew up on Pete, then Bob , then The Byrds and The Beatles…….. But never heard this version of this virtually unknown masterpiece from the master before. Al ( Byrdsfan)

  3. Sailng down my golden river
Sun and water all my own
    Yet I was never alone
Sun and water, old life givers
l'll have them where ere I roam
And I was not far from home
    Sunlight glancing on the water
Life and death are all my own
    Yet I was never alone
    Sailng down my golden river
Sun and water all my own
    Yet I was never alone
Sun and water, old life givers
l'll have them where ere I roam
And I was not far from home
    Sunlight glancing on the water
Life and death are all my own
    Yet I was never alone

  4. What a gorgeous 12-string version of this beautiful meaningful song. Can't you just "see" Pete as he wrote this, perhaps in his little boat at dusk? Thank you, dear Pete. You will be sorely missed by not only me but the entire world forever. Someone like you comes along but once in a blue moon.

  5. We are a dying breed…nearly extinct.
I am happy & proud that I experienced those times and was involved in The Movement, but sad I leave behind a dying planet.
