Pardon my ignorance but I am also considering purchasing an older tri-hull. I'm told that their ability to handle chop was a disadvantage of tri-hulls?

What motor set up are you running with what drive system on your tri hull? I picked up a 75' cobalt with a Chevy 350 with a Jacuzzi jet drive.
