I appreciate the information – especially about the pre-rigged preventer, that's a great innovation, but please can you tell me which knot you use to secure the jib sheets to the jib?They don't look like the usual bowline.

I fully agree with this technique and I like the leather socks and collars to reduce chafing on the sheet. How is it best to reduce the chafing of the sheet on the guard rail though? Should I re-rig the sheet under the rail (probably unsafe), use a block to pull the sheet off the rail, or is there a better way?

Why don't you just set up the Spinnaker?
