This engine is horrible!
Whatever they are saying, the engine is not performing at all.
And pathetic technical support from the manufacturer.
Even though i have a Ticket number, no response from technical team.

I have 2x150HP OXE and both are down within 100hr running time.
Never buy these.
You will be disappointed.

OXE Diesel from CIMCO MARINE - sucks! The Swedes soldered it to us for 45 K euros each. We were one of the first to acquire 2x200 hp and we still curse this day of our life. We serve ourselves, nothing complicated. The engine itself is GM (for Opel Insignia). An innovation only in the transmission to the propulsion. 1. Non-industrial model. Not suitable for heavy use. 2. Raw and imperfect design. 3. The housing starts to molder down almost immediately despite the anode protection. 4. The motor cowlings are literally ripped off by the pressure of water. We had to remodel it ourselves. As a result, all the parts were in the water and the entire electrical part had to be changed. 5. Turbines do not withstand the nominal declared speed, overheat at 3000 rpm. As a result, it is impossible to develop full power. 6. The company does not want to be responsible for its products. 7. It is impossible to get technical support. Got the money
and forgot. Then they simply do not respond to emails. A couple of years later, they admitted that some parts, turbines in particular, were incorrectly calculated and incomplete, but they refused to send new ones. 8. The engine cannot be lifted on the move in shallow water, which increases the draft by half a meter. 9. Weighs almost half a ton. In short, quality 2+, technical support 0, manufacturer's responsibility 0. One and only plus it's diesel. We were forced to take it for a work in order to meet maritime safety standards.

I tried to become an agent for this item, adding it to my list of marine products, however, there are no takers as the price is exorbitantly high, some 3 times a Yamaha 350. In addition, there's is no return of investment with the extra money paid for diesel motor, when the motor lasts a meagre 2000hrs (Just losses). One customer making fast patrol RIB almost threw back the brochure at my face.
