Historically as well as its wildlife and scenery. The locally built Dhows are numerous. A happy, relaxed atmosphere and friendly people. Didn't want to leave… the Commores also was exquisite.

I keep coming back to this season… the 7 of you were a good team. I thought about the Indian Ocean season again a couple weeks ago when saw another channel checking out a boat with helms at the rear and exposed. The moment I saw those helms, all I could think about is these episodes where you were hand steering in that crazy weather! This is what made me vow to never have a boat with exposed helm because you never know when you will be stuck out there.
Crazy to think you are back in the pacific – such a journey!
Well, back to finish off my latest re-watch of this season, Fair Winds Brian, Kazza and Nugget!
