8. I suppose it’s design is based upon the looks of a 17th Century sailing ship. Cannot say I like it but it looks very nicely built and maintained.

I saw this thing yesterday, moored in the gulf of Trieste, and didn't even know what it was; surely such a monster can't go unnoticed and I immediately thought "what the f**k is that?"; even if it was in the distance you could see the enormous, unusual and, I would say, out of scale dimension of this vessel. Now, I surely prize the absolute original and futuristic design and whatsoever but, I can honestly say that it triggered in me strange, rather unpleasant emotions; I found this thing spooky, bulky, disquieting and even ghostly. Let me point out that I didn't know it was a private yacht owned by the Russian tycoon (and I couldn't care less), but my first thought was that it might be some sort of prototype, probably military, given the weird shape and size, lack of windows and no colours. Nevertheless, I'm glad I had the chance to see this monstrosity.

42. A sailing yacht with more freeboard than sail area? I think we've just discovered a billionaire who has never set foot on a sailboat, who drew a sketch of a triangle with 3 masts on a napkin and said 'build this". Her upwind performance must be as precise and stable as an apartment building in a mudslide. Definitely not my cup of tea but hey, obviously someone likes it.
