Maybe you've mentioned this in a later video (I'm only up into the 50's now), but your trying to understand the little recorded message in the light reminded me of something. I have a friend who is Thai, and many times we don't communicate brilliantly. So just for the hell of it I googled translator, and up popped google translate. It translates between many languages (including english and thai) and is easily set up so that (in my case) she speaks thai into the smartphone, and it translates what she said into english. It both writes it and verbalizes it. To respond I hit a key and it is ready for my english reply. It works amazingly well, and is free.
I should mention that for some reason there are two versions, and one works well, and the other is clunky.

Very useful info. Excellent. Other uses for vacuum bottles – I have various sizes of wide mouth ones and use them for cooking oats, rice, even peas and beans. Saves galley space and all you need for cooking is boiled water. Do a search for "Thermos cooking" for recipes.
