The penny pinching government of ours should never have retired the royal yacht Britannia she had many years of life left in her and was a wonderful tool to be used abroad for dealing with foreign powers doing deals and acting as a outpost of Great Britain as well as a ship that could be used as a hospital ship in times of conflict if needed , it was not just a jolly tool for the royal family it represented our country a proud maritime nation .
