This looks like the typical inexperienced crew trying to perform what is not all that easy, but far worse when the helmsman is nervous. Not sure if they did a previous scout of the area but they came in at a very high angle when they could have potentially had more room on the left side (but perhaps depth was a valid concern). Too much speed! and wrong angle, but the anchorman wasn't calling off distances (shows a complete lack of training). Since the helmsman didn't instruct him on how to do this, can only assume (also based on what we witness) that even the helmsman is untrained.

Biggest problem with mooring is that people don't like to practice it, and rightfully so, it can go bad quickly and even a small ding can ruin your whole holiday and no one wants to deal with an insurance claim. What I don't understand is why there aren't more dedicated courses specifically focusing on mooring?

Ormeggio schifoso doveva accostare in banchina 45 gradi motore minimo o abbrivio poi barra contrastata colpo motore retrò. Pessimo skipper togliere patente subito pericolo equipaggio.
