Yes , finally a motor . Wahoo
So hooked! Binge watching!
Have you thought about getting or making something like this https://www.sailmagazine.com/gear/power-sails-sails-built-with-integral-solar-panels ?
nice
Fantastic,
Put the Kill Cord around your wrist when operating with that outboard!!!
Dan you were getting buff from rowing…thou 😉
Peace
We are glad you now have an outboard motor for your dinghy. Great music….
Yes. You two are crazy amazing! What over reaching optimism to buy a boat most of us would say was ready for the boat bone yard. To fix it into a sea worthy vessel and then continue forward and go out adventuring into the wild blue-sea yonder!!!!! WOW!
Dingy Donuts!!!
There's nothing wrong with old outboard so long as you don't give them saltwater baths! lol That's pretty hard on any outboard old or new. Also thinking of safety wise do you keep a handheld VHF or any flares with you in the dinghy? Also I notice the floatation foam is gone, do you guys bring life jackets ect when going long distance in the dinghy?
It's exactly the same outboard motor I have on my dinghy.
It's a little too heavy, for being only a 5 HP motor, but you will be very happy with it 🙂
This time, don't sink the outboard.
I want to be that excited about an outboard 🙂
My sister had a cat in Grenada so I spent 2 weeks most years in the 90's down there. I remember imported goods were very expensive so I'm guessing that Merc cost a fortune. Locking the motor to the boat in neutral should keep the less determined teefs away! Have you solved the sinking dinghy problem when it rains? Hate to see it have a saltwater bath. I was just noticing the beginnings of "handles" on Dan and then the old motor became FUBAR and I said to myself, "just in time." Luckily, you guys are sailors and expend enough energy just existing to control your weight. Actually Dan, you look damned good regardless of age as does Kika, who also does a brilliant job of music and sound FX and video editing, and banana smashwiches. Back in the 90's most cruisers in Grenada went to Trinny to buy stuff or get shit fixed. The water at the marina was the same price as diesel!
How munch was the motor? Is it a better deal there then in the states?
So glad you finally got to replace that sh…. outboard !!! yea, of course electric would be more like you!
and old seagull would have been great. now that fast but very reliable
❤️🌈💪😎
Glad to see you finally got the outboard! Congrats. Now bummer sails need work. Ying and the Yang 🙁 Fair Winds & Cheers!
Looks like so much fun! Still trying to catch up to the current videos but enjoying each step! Glad you got the dingy motor, I got tired looking at you rowing!
Great video, loving the 5 hp Mercury 👍 To bad about the Genoa ripping up😣
That banana sandwich was amazing ;-))
I stumbled across your Channel today and started watching a few episodes. Just an idea whenever you are at different anchorage's Try to turn the camera so we can see where you're at. Instead of keeping the camera on yourself. Most of the time. It's so much more adventurous for the viewer to see where you are going while you talk rather than see you and here you talk while seeing what's in the background behind you as you go… I hope this isn't taken offensively because it's not meant to be😉.
Have fun U 2 !!
that fort you visited is a Star Fort…
Yeah DAN, no more Armstrong outboard! Great fellow that Mercury, fleet of foot, and a great outboard too! lol lol! Best of luck with the outboard, the key words are, FRESH FUEL! Now Kiki you Need to get the info on how to run the Mercury. Never can tell in an emergency, hope never you two get hurt or something. Fair winds, great seas, much fun, great love, to you two!
That’s the ridiculousness of sailing to all the islands. Immigration fees, visa apps and customs checks. Makes it quite the pain in the ass
Good to go back and watch one of your older videos. You have come so far. Not that you were in a bad place, still good, just thinking of your new dingy and new motor. AND, now, your new electric sail motor.
MY FAMILY ISLANDS

Banana on bread then you fold it , then W hamo you splat !!!! 😂😂😂 That was funny. I learned something today and I'm going to try it. Safe travels to yall.
We enjoyed your tour once again, and congrats on the new motor, you will love it. Safe travels.
Thanks for showing Grenada and Carriacou some love. You drove past my grandmothers house – I can almost hear her beautiful voice.
such a pity that "land lubbing" administration has to be done every island visited… Caribbean Islands should look to the Schengen visa system to make it easier for cruisers. I have always dreamed about having a "passport from the ocean" which enables cruising admin reduction.
The gym is for the RGPF, Fort George is an active barracks. (FYI😁)
Banana sandwich…. splat pack… got me totally off guard…. had to laugh out loud all by myself
Great video! Thanks for sharing with us, great that the outboard's opened up areas to explore! Thanks again for bringing us on the adventure – I can only imagine how much effort it took to produce these videos – the sound, pacing everything is great!
I've been binge watching since Saturday I am so enjoying you guys. Safe sails from one of your new subscriber's
Thanks for sharing! Top notch editing! Nice touch with the transition of background music when going from night to morning!
Those "cute bananas" are called figs in the Caribbean.
2 stroke, way to go!
👍🏻☀👍🏻☀👍🏻☀⛵
Why do you need to get emigrations or visa to stop in for beer, fuel , groceries? It is not like you are moving there? Seems like overkill.
Again, I will express my admiration for your relationship. You treat (at least on camera) each other with dignity and respect as well as affection. I choose to believe it is genuine.
Hi I’ve been watching your videos and trying to catch up to your present day circumstances. I’m still years away. I’m enjoying most if not all of your editing. I noticed the volume transition from underwater to surface. That was a good one! Hope to see and enjoy more editing effects in the future. Take care see you soon. If it wasn’t for this sofa I would be sailing! Sofas have a lot of answering to do!!
I don't, Dan. Your pecs, & Kika's, have been looking pretty good since you've been rowing! Don't get rid of the oars. ❤️. You needed peanutbutter to make that banana sandwich great!
Is your ElectroBeke the "copper jenny?"
