No, it very much NOT like a monohull – someone is a tri-hull fanboy who wants to appeal to the mono hull fans (which is most sailors – even accounting for cost).

Trimaran is arguably the best boat type: tris are more generally more stable and safer than catamarans, which are generally more stable and safer than monohulls.

Hopefully other makers will enter the trimaran market with boats that have better construction quality and interior quality than Neel. Corsair, Dragonfly, Rapido, even Marsaudon would be my choices long before Neel.

That said, like some of the Neel layout ideas.
