This is an unusually poor video in the "how to" series. When he's whirling the wheel to and fro in combination with engine controls, we need to see it facing forward, like he is. It is IMPOSSIBLE to interpret his actions and the resulting boat movement when the viewer is facing backward and everything that's happening is reversed!

All very nice…now add wind, waves, current, other boats coming in and out with angry pilots, fatigue after a big day, non-electronic controls, non power steering, no bow thruster, no joy stick and concrete edges on the dock. Please do that video. If you can nail that you'll be a legend.

Seeing the boat that was used in the example, I was expecting him to just say "push both bow and stern thruster sticks towards the dock" or "move the joystick to the side"
