9. Had to pause 913 research these bugs . found this Weevils are not poisonous, so ingesting them won't cause you any particular harm. These insects are, from a scientific standpoint, a source of protein. 11. Weevils in rice and oats usually float to the surface of the water when you start to cook it so can be scooped off the surface….. not plan A but a good plan B!

15. Limes or lemons. Recent years have seen Hong Kong camping/car 12 volt chest freezers. I wont touch milk over a week old. Butter stores so much better. You can mash it into cereal or soup. Every possible smaller fish should be hooked with good bait, and devoured promptly. Small square solar panels hold together. They should stow for storms.

16. As for weevils, I freeze my rice and flower for 24hrs when I first buy it. Kills all the eggs and lasts longer.

17. Weevils will float to the top when cooking. Just skim off. Or eat them. No harm whatsoever. Throwing away a whole bag of rice? Wasteful!

19. GHEE is clarified butter, shelf stable, no need to refrigerate. Good for all cooking, not as good on toast.

    Food of other cultures aren't disgusting, they are just different. The best Bahamian cuisine is their breakfasts, but westerners would prefer these breakfasts for lunch or supper. Boil fish (made with Grouper head) for example
