some times profiles on tooth belts are different profies ,,,,i found on my cam belts on my rallye car engine ,i found the cord inside the rubber belts was cotton and had some belts made with kevlar instead of cotton worked very well motor reving to 9.5 k,,,,,check your steel pullys also for ware or damage,,, 75 amp alternator puts a heavy load on the belts plus the load from the water pump when the engine starts

Salmon tend to jump to get rid of the sea lice that attach while at sea
When then start their run and enter brakish water they tend to rise n jump.
