16. I did see it 20 years ago. First time I went to Thailand (Phuket, Phi Phi, Chiang Mai). Boy how things have changed. Too many tourists, and not enough regulation. It's the wild west of tourism.

22. ? 9 knots per hour is fast? A US aircraft carrier of the Nimitz class does 35 knots. I don't get it. I thought catamarans were fast, really fast, like 30 to 50 knots nautical miles per hour.

26. Phi Phi islands is the most beautiful place in Thailand in my eyes… If 80% of the tourist and boats had disappear. Me and my wife had our honeymoon there some years ago. Where ment to stay there for 11 days but went of the island after 3 days and went for a week on Koh Maak instead. Since that Koh Chang and surrounding islands have been our "paradise" vacation place, because it is much more relaxing and quiet there.

37. Bobby, 20 yrs ago it was still well known and quite busy. When I first went there in 1986, it was almost a virgin. Maya Bay was a true postcard. Great country with rich culture and food

45. You should go back to Thailand now. COVID-19 no tourists all those beautiful places you suggested had too much traffic. They’re all empty now. Only drawback is it might be hard to find a place to eat.

47. Phi, Phi is an insaner place to go for a vacationer. It reminds me of Toronto harbor on Sunday mornings with the three ferries zooming across kicking up 3-4 foot high waves all over the harbor and out to the Toronto Harbor Islands. It was a nutfest just like Phi, Phi.
