Buy or charter a super yacht….not sure why I'm watching this, I can barely afford my Nissan. If anyone needs an armed security guard for their yacht let me know.

  2. Owning a yacht by either chartering or buying is quite hard. Some wealthy people is very busy with their work unless they are a businessman. If your captain calls you about your yacht in a middle of a meeting makes you feel distracted and stress from the news of your captain

  3. I have been watching your videos for 1 month now but you really got me with this vid. I am in the position of working hard hoping to have that life style one day. Hopefully, I can make it before you retire so you can be my broker. Thank you and subcribed.

  4. I don't think I can ever afford a yacht, we don't talk about hundreds of thousands of euros but millions, I just bought a new car and I already feel happy even though I have higher expectations, in all cases if I ever could afford one you'll be the person I would address, when you do anything with devotion and passion the results are seen.

I believe that with your job you makes a lot of money but still you are here to talk about yachts and
    we see your great knowledge.

  5. Having tons of money doesn't make one a better human being than someone else with little money, it just makes you rich. Every human being, be it your staff or a total stranger, deserves to be treated like one, with dignity, respect, empathy and compassion. The love and admiration you earn from those around you makes you a better human being. Sometimes, all a person working for you needs is a little appreciation and acknowledgement for the work they do. No amount of money you pay them can substitute for a pat on the back for a work well done and a greeting with a smile on your face, possibly on a first name basis. Cheers!

  6. I really enjoy your videos. Im a disabled British Army veteran. I served on Landing Craft and Mexeflotes and small fast boats etc in RCT Maritime Fleet. Also worked in many jobs. Now Im flat bound, and recently started to watch super yaght videos on youtube. Just want to say thankyou, as its good therapy believe it or not. Love seeing the whole vessel from bow to stern crew and guest areas etc. Ive just shy of 950 videos saved in my Youtube folder (private, as wouldn't share public other peoples videos that they want to be viewed on their channels. To build up likes and subscriptions). My fav yaghts tri-decks, also sime of the Trawler Yaghts. I love the Sunseeker 17million 131, Princess 30m 6.1 million, Andromeda and Ulysses. These were the first I viewed. Love every style from the super expsensive mega gigi superyaghts, down to the cheaper and smaller Trawler yaght 45ft and 30 to 40ft yaghts. Hope to find you on Instagram and facebook.
    Many thanks.

  7. Even watching these type of your videos brings me relaxation and joy. Thanks a lot. Inspiring to dream big but still I can't see myself having a Superyacht myself.

  8. Better said: Yacht = Liability, not an asset. Asset = anything that puts money into your pocket. Liability = anything that takes money out of your pocket.

  9. Very interesting video as you seem to have read my mind and covered a subject that I have been kicking around for some time. Thanks Henry Kock from Aruba

  10. Do the dancing working girls come gratis or are they an extra you have to pay for?
I'm assuming they were working girls because the only male I saw was their minder (Well, he looked like the girl's minder) and yourself.

  11. I’d like to hear your comparison between fraction ownership and just chartering the yacht. To me is seems like the difference between time sharing and just booking a hotel room and clearly time sharing is a rip.

  12. From a previous Video--When you were called out on the pronunciation of "Giga" Yachts–As an English Teacher among my many Professions, just say in response " Big A@@ Boats"- I know you'll enjoy this humourous Comment- from fisherman19@gmx.com

  14. Greetings, You once did a video where you played like three different types of buyers of three different size yacht's and you went into great detail about the cost of buying and operating them. I have tried to find that video again but I don't see it. Could somebody link me the video or give me the title of it so I might find it. Thank you

  15. In the United States you can start a business renting the yacht for five years and take deductions expensing the costs. Then you could have the yacht to yourself at a considerable lesser cost.

  16. The other day I was reading about the rule of the three F:s, it it flies, floats or fucks, it is always cheaper to rent.

  17. Do charter companies typically own the yachts? If not, then who owns them? Do charter companies look for a charter broker who will find boats to rent out? Is that on a monthly basis?

  18. I think perhaps if you use the yacht at least 12 weeks out of the year then buy the yacht. Seems yachts charter for about 0.5-1% of its value so 3-4 months worth of charter equates to the annual 10-15% depreciation.

  19. I’m only going to get a sailing yacht when I can. Monohaul boat that has both sails and motor. I also want it to be big enough so I can store a lot of stuff and have people on board, but small enough to where I can be the captain of my own yacht. I want to be able to the be the owner and captain at the same time. Are there any boats I can buy that fit that description?

  20. I personally think that you must understand and get head around either if you have enough money to run the yacht or charter just to get experience, but if I would be buying a yacht I would firstly get charter for a 10day to see how all works. But you must have in mind all the types of running costs, crew salary etc…and would you want after your personal use put your yacht for charter for next year to gain some investment money back. Very interested.
David? Who would be best point of contact for New/used yachts to buy as one of my friend are asking? Based in UK, and is Nortrop & Johnson web site to go for?
