Is there any advantages /disadvantages to take the STCW course (and other related courses) in Europe as apposed to the US where I reside? Lastly do employers have preferences on which academies employees receive their certs. from?

Can I go into this industry with tattoos? Only one public friendly one on my leg other wise if it’s not visible it’s fine? As well is long hair alright? I’m planning on doing my course in March and would just like to know if I have to cut it? I’ve only ever seen guys in your videos with short hair…
