I saw her once. We were on my Dads Nonsuch 36. I think at Astoria (it's been a long time). I remember because we were trying to define whether she was a Ketch rigged Motorsailor or a Yawl rigged Motorsailor. I don't remember what we decided and watching the video I'm still not sure.
My Dad was absolutely in love with her but as a WW2 Vet (european theater) he had kind of a thing about Germans. He visited her that evening leaving us kids (me in command) behind. When he got back I remember he said "Those Krauts built a damn fine boat".
