In Puerto Rico, entry fee is $7500 with $399 monthly fee… But they offer discount sometimes. For me, living on an island it was a no brainer.

Im new to boating, dont know about maintance and dont wanna learn, and the fact that they do on-the-water training with you (which I need) in the area is a huge plus. Also in 10 years, I dont even want a 10 year old boat so the equity in owning is meaningless. I think Im sold.

Prices vary by where you are, on the GA coast, the buy-in is $6800 currently.

I've looked everywhere and can't seem to find a price for membership. The first thing should be price. I couldn't care less about the emotional plea bs. How much is membership and how much is the monthly fee? That's all I need to hear.

Too often you get stuck with a pontoon boat instead of a regular boat. Also despite their policy, they do not buy a boat for every 10 new members. It can be difficult to schedule a boat in this club.
