Antarctica holds a special place in my heart. I wintered over at Mawson Station in 2016. I have mixed emotions about tour companies operating in Antarctica. When people see Antarctica for them selves, they become an advocate for its protection. So tourism is needed for its protection, however more tourism will bring some level of effect on this prestine environment.
