I HATE onions. My mom used to sneak it in my food when I was a kid and say there’s no onions in it but I’d always catch her. There’s no way to hide them their taste is too distinct

I think Adam knew exactly what he was doing. He came across as a bit of a jerk. I use onions so much but I do know someone who does not like onions at all so would avoid although yes it is not always so easy. . He is a chef so not difficult. Just being a jerk. The microwave steak chef haha lucky Gordon Ramsay wasn't on board as he would know.

"New Money" ? is about "sending things back"? How about a Chef who simply can't read. Sometimes requesting an ingredient to NOT be used isn't about "taste". It could possibly be about a "medical reason". Gee "Chef" Adam, having to rush a Guest to an ER would be fun, eh? Preference Sheets matter. Ugh.
Adam is just an overall insecure Guy. Both Socially and clearly, in the Kitchen.
