Interesting. Could you please do a video on Less-Lethal devices that are used for self defense on yachts? Are international and other nations more forgiving for bear spray, rubber or bean bag rounds from compressed gas launchers (in paintball we call it hpa or nitro), etc?

I very much appreciated this episode. I might add that the perspective you gave over the "gun" arguments is mostly American-based. Only in the USA is there the 2nd Amendment, which came about as a result of the fact that America would not have won its civil war without guns to fight the British in what is commonly called the American Revolution. So to expand on the topic of your channel, if a vessel is more than 12 miles offshore then it is the Law of the Sea, which means you are governed at sea by the law of your flag, so an American flag vessel must follow the laws of the USA while at sea. In the territorial waters of a country, within the 12-mile limit, that country's laws apply, and many countries require a permit before you even enter their waters. I am an avid gun owner, but I would not take a gun on a boat unless I was going to Somalia.

Some of your reasoning just flat out sucks man. You, "Might be looked at suspiciously" or "you could be delayed when you arrive"…… those are hardly good reasons. They're pussy reasons depending on where you're traveling. There are certain places more dangerous than others but by all means keep encouraging people to be victimized with your lame arguments.

Unless you're constantly traveling heavily pirated waters you don't really need guns and even then it's questionable but better to be safer than sorry, guns onboard in Denmark were a snap
