Only place I visited in the Adriatic was Koper, Slovenia (in October). Nice place, would like to visit again. Would like to visit all of these places sometime! Question: Most of your yachting videos is about activities on the yacht (water toys or the dining onboard). But do some charters like to go ashore and walk around some of the ports you pull into? Sample local food? (No offense to Chef's Dean and Nina!!)

In some places in Croatia, the water is so pure and clear, it feels like there is nothing between you and the sea bed several meters down. 🙂 BEST SEA EVER!

Its been really wonderful watching you sail around the very islands i sail on every day. I can tell you, even with a 15 meter/47ft sailboat, theese places arent even scratching the surface. On every island around split there is a nice sandy beach, or more that you can anchor on, and tie off stern to the rocks, and sleep trough the night. Thats what i love to do. Sleep in a sandy bay, and early in the morning, 7-9am, into the next sandy bay, anchor, tie to the rocks, lunch, dinner, then basicly rinse and repeat. Thats how we spend our summer holidays in Split.

You are so lucky to visit Croatia (my home country), you need to visit islands Cres and Lošinj for me this is two most beautiful islands in Croatia. But also you need to see some inlands places like Plitvice national park or to visit Slavonia and try our local food. Be safe!

Remember going here as yacht crew in 1990. Worked through YPI at the time. A van lent yacht called Carmenta. Great life, but really hard work.
