I'm surprised you didn't mention the Ebony Blade or the Longhammer. The Longhammer has the highest potential DPS due to being the fastest 2 handed weapon (faster than Volendrung) and can be used with Elemental Fury for insane DPS. Ebony Blade (when powered up) basically makes you unkillable and swings fast too

Balgruff's Greatsword. Doesn't weigh anything and can't be disarmed or removed from inventory. And with some smithing tweaks can stand up with any other swords.

You're wrong about Volundrung being the fastest hammer…. the Long hammer swings faster than a great sword.
And a fully upgraded ebony blade can literally break the game…
It is like using fully upgraded Spray and Pray in fallout 4

I'm going for wuthraad because I've always favored great swords and warhammers. I think it'll be decent once limbsplitter is maxed out for the bleeding damage. Elves are screwed against my guy though.
