If you are up and watching for the sunrise a bit before that you can sometimes see the "Green Flash" I was up early at the Tampico Beach in Mexico once and saw it/ really the whole rainbow of light hits you usually about 30 to 45 minutes before the actual sunrise. Taiwan's Formosa Hobie Challenge 1992 Pung Hu date was the last time I was there, Hobie 16's 4 sites of week end racing all around Taiwan. Fun Times, Sailed the Texas Boat with Jurgan Faber.
