Great video on the dinghy, in college we build a fiberglass 12 dory that we towed to Catalina, and now I am very interested in building a nesting Spindrift 11 for my Ericson 37. I love to row and sail a dinghy, not fond of gas outboards.

Another sailing channel, Sailing Magic Carpet, has posted over the past few weeks a three episode chronicle of building their tender dinghy from a kit. Very interesting for anyone who wants to see what it takes to do something like that.

Yes, I'm seriously considering it. The boat I'm building is way smaller than Florence at 20ft, so it might have to be even smaller than yours. In fact I may not even need a dinghy. since it's a centerboard boat and it can be beached. We'll see. Cheers guys. That was v. interesting.
