Foil breach…. then capsize…. Thanks for posting! This is a result of over-engineering by humans who are too biased by their own tech success/engineering, and refuse to observe that evolution does it better. At least they stopped putting foils on "wave piercing hull" aka displacement catamarans. Although it was a bit of fun watching those do the brick-wall-pitchpole.

NZ did far more than help rescue this vessel.
They opened up their manufacturing facility to the US and built new CF panels to replace those ripped out during the crash.
Don't think this would happen in most other sporting arenas!
