Hi guys my name is Patrick and I live in New Orleans I just wanted to tell you if you haven't already heard it seems like you're very knowledgeable I lived on a 45-ft Hans Christian double ender in San Francisco Bay and it's much better to have an inboard diesel I had a hundred gallon tank and I could go close to a thousand miles but the boat had plenty of storage room I'm guessing your boat is 38 anyway my reason for commenting is you can take your outboard and put it on a up and down mount for your boat and take it off when you need to put it on the dinghy that way you can use it and steer with your rudder so hopefully everything came through okay using Google voice good luck and great sailing out there my starter just went out on my outboard so it's always something I really like the last time you guys pulled out and all the work you did so you might want to try the outboard mount because it's much easier than pushing or pulling your boat with the dinghy also you can always get a six to 25 gallon tank that you can either store in your cockpit or somewhere below anyway just a suggestion I'm sure someone else has mentioned it God bless and Godspeed if you're ever in New Orleans which I doubt you'll come this far north in the Gulf my number is 606 pool and the area code is 504 I'm very knowledgeable about boats and you guys are doing fantastic I had a Pathfinder conversion which was a Volkswagen rabbit diesel and it was I want to say 40 horsepower and you literally could motor as far as you could possibly need to go but it was a much bigger boat 13 almost 14 ft in width and you could literally motor all the way to Hawaii so eventually put that diesel in yanmar is fine but there are other makes out there and you can always have one shipped in or buy a second hand sorry for the long message but this is my first time and I'm suffering from migraines from the oak pollen anyway be safe and one day get yourself and autohelm and possibly a Garmin or rebuilt GPS and autohelm which you can set a alarm so if you come within 20 to 50 miles of anything including shallow water your really good but if you like selling all the time that's great too so take care and I really love watching your videos I'm living alone right now but I've been looking for boats for a year take care and think about mounting the outboard so you can use it for your main boat take care Patrick
