Trailer sailers are the ideal boat in my opinion. If you are just coastal hopping or going up thin waters, or towing to new destinations it's the perfect boat. You can use it as a caravan when going to a special spot days drive from home. Love the cabin top lifting on this boat, gotta get one

Have you considered lazy jacks for the main, they make life a lot easier for single handing, plenty of ideas on the net, I have a Farr 6000 and I sail mostly on my own, I have a jib downhaul as well, both allow me to drop the sails from the cockpit in most breezes
