3. so summary: everybody here seems to hate the coverage and love the race. Honestly, if I wasn't a die-hard fan of this fantastic foiling F50 show I would have quit after 20 seconds of the "life" coverage of race day1. The graphics were just like kindergarden. I stongly believe we will see a huge improvment on coverage soon. PLEASE SailGP team READ ALL THE COMMENTS! We love you! but we suffer from this coverage. I don't even know what kph are (if ot sitting in my car 😉

4. Bit scratchy first up for the kiwis -Give im time , great regatta , nice coverage

5. Although I enjoyed the racing I found the direction / editing of the racing very frustrating and a mess compared to the recent America's cup. Key bits of action are constantly missed in preference for another close up. Often the camera perspectives shown such as at the start of the race make it very hard to see who is winning and even the commentators where getting muddled up. The graphics were also terrible, jerky and missing information all over the place. The boats were often disappearing into the boundary marker graphic and things like distance to leader and time behind leader were rarely shown. I can't quite believe SailGP reportedly sued the America's cup over patented graphics tech. Concentrate on getting your own stuff right first before suing others! Oh and KNOTS!!! I don't remember the first season of SailGP being presented this badly. Please sort it out as its damaging the good work being done on the water by your racing teams.

6. As a sailor, Kmh really means nothing to me.

7. What the he!! Kind of sailing race DOESN’T express the wind and boat speed in knots!?!? And even showing the speed above the boats in kmh, but showing it as ‘kn’ (knots)!!! 😳.

9. So the Kiwi are purposely trying to look bad so their ultimate "fix was in" sandbag for the AC isn't more obvious to casual observers. Check…if you try the same tactics next time there won't be an AC due to lack of participation.

10. WTF is with them displaying kilometers per hour followed by the unit kn. In what fucking universe is that the correct abbreviation for kph and in what fucking sailboat race do we measure not measure speed in knots.

11. I love the way the graphics says "kn" – knots – for the boat speeds. But 67kn? That is 124 km/h.
    Hilarious.

17. 80 knots! Wow, that's a new world record!!! Oh wait……I think SailGP might be a bit confused….boys, I've got news for you, landlubbers measure speed in km/h, sailors measure speed in knots. You might want to change that graphic text to knots and not km/h. What a bunch of Julians!

18. there is a better way to watch the racing via the SailGP App. There you can individually choose the camera you would like to see

    I'm sure it'll get better as they move on to the next regatta.

    The Prada cup Christmas races started off badly too.

21. Great racing but the graphic of the race border are not optimal. I agree that boat- and windspeed should be in knots. And it is a pity that nobody paid any attention to the dive of team Denmark. What happened there?!

22. Teach laypeople what knots are and use those, cut it out with this km/h nonsense

23. Very confusing, the boat speeds in knots and the commentator saying same number as km/h, however the speed seems to be in km/h..

26. Less focus on "image film" shots, clear top view of starts, longer courses would be better I think. Now this is way too compressed to understand any of the subtlety. We're all spoiled by America's cup coverage and want some tactical sailing here!

30. To add my voice to the others: Please make the wind speed and boat speed in knots for the broadcasters and the graphics.
    And, please show just the overhead shot for the start until the first mark.

32. 1:01:39 "Driver"? Why not call him helmsman? If this change in terminology and speed units is to attract more non sailors, it's not working. Anybody wishing to learn about sailing wants to know the terminology that applies to sailing as opposed to car racing. Please stick to tradition without trying to change the sport.

34. Error!?!: What are these speeds that are shown on the screen: they are kilometers per hour and it says Kn (knots !?).

36. good sound evidence New Zealand is self distracted.Why is NZ in this race except as a last place keeper?

37. Don't have radio the entire time beneath the broadcasters. So annoying to differentiate.
