2. I have such fond memories of learning to sail on a Flying Scot. Such a simple but sturdy boat. Glad to see they're still getting love.

14. Nice review but I would only chose one on the list, the Voyager 20, which is not in production due to a Chinese co destroying the company. The potter designer and previous company owner created a new company called Ventura Sport Boats, they build the Malbec 18 and a new boat at 23 ft. The rest of the boats on your list I would hardly call trailer-ables, that is boats that are light and easy to launch. As for the Scott and RS boat, there are a lot more boats in that category. Hobie Cat has great beach cats and sailing trimaran kayak (Tandem Island).

15. I downsized to an O'day Mariner, 19 ft. Fraction rig, over 8 ft cockpit, small lockable cabin. It sails very well. Over 4000 built, and still in production.

16. Its never good value buying a brand new yacht or day sailor. Used, 2nd or even better 3rd hand is much better. You usually get lots of extras and any design faults are usually ironed out or improved. You can always save 1000s of dollars or pounds sterling.

21. I live in Cleveland Ohio and at $40.00 per ft to dock a boat I have decided to get something trailerable. I’m was considering a j boat j/9 until I saw your video. Now I’m thinking the bay cruiser 26 or the Beneteau first 24 might be a better buy. Have you tested the tartan 345? It also seems like a good buy as we’ll as some com pac trailerable sailboats

26. I really liked the Baycruiser, both the slightly old style look of the hull and some of the interior design choices too – that stowable galley was a great idea. I'd never buy a new boat, but would be interested to see how the used market looks for this one.

30. I did some research and currently 9/17/22. The Voyager 20 is not even available. And I can’t find it anywhere. International Marine has a non existent or no longer existing email and there phone number is out of service. They were based in Englewood California. I guess Biden and his democratic lets destroy The United States policies with high taxes and open boarders made em give up! I’m sure many others are soon to follow!

33. I really think you are CRAZY!!! All of these options are way above the price point of a normal person. Try to keep the tope end under 20K … Then you might have a discussion 🙂
