I'm active duty US military and have been chasing a dream recently to save money to buy a sailboat to circumnavigate when I get done with my contract. I know nothing about sailing, I'm terrified of the ocean, but I'm pretty damn headstrong about pursuing my dreams. I'm super glad to see channels like yours, Sam Holmes, Sailing Triteia and the like who I can learn and get inspiration from. Took ages of scrolling through the hundreds of trust-fund TY sailors to find a channel like yours – down to earth, real people – who I can learn from who aren't just trying to glamorize the life. Your stuff is salty, hilarious, real, and I love it. I really appreciate your videos and look forward to watching more.
