3. I truly appreciate you breaking it down to perfect sense of how much one or a couple can earn on youtube and being a merchant. It shows why they or one single person continues to video edit and upload which is a ton of work being creative to make a superb channel.

6. What a sacrifice! Average of $48.00 an hour each, that’s way below their professional pay scale had they followed their career path. I think we’re lucky they chose this path and hope they are able to continue growing it, (stay committed) with the relevant life enriching content.

13. Apparently you have now idea how income taxation works in Canada! And do you actually think they spend $88,000 a year maintaining their 50 year old sailboat and provisions for themselves? Your numbers are way off…

14. I think your Pateon and Merchandise numbers are way too optemistic. I would venture to say that most of their Pateons only donate $2 or $5 per step. Either way they deserve every penny of their earnings.

19. Remember to divide by 2 since there are two of them working full time. Many people do make $48/hour. They do make very excellent content and work hard for it…much of it in planning, filming, and editing.

30. You really believe that 1% of their daily viewers visit their store every day? That would mean (assuming the viewers are mostly the same people watching all the videos) that every viewer visits their store 3 times per year. I find that hard to believe
