1. I’ve watched several of your “ How much do they make “ videos. I’ve heard you say the word “ presume “ too many times ,to take this assumption accurate. Sorry, I’m out.

4. If this is true, well done! But I don't believe so. I've been living off my YouTube sailing channel for several years, and I just scrape by. But at least I have the lifestyle.

6. One thing I know their estimates are off on (and they kind of admit this) is their taxes. I almost 99% sure Matt and Kristen’s home base is Florida which has no income tax. Although a lot of you want to believe this is high, I would bet it’s pretty close. It’s about an average middle class income for two educated adults. Not that big of a deal. Thing is knowing them (I’ve watched them for years) they’re frugal and stashing it away.

9. Yeeahh…. there are a LOT of assumptions and guesses here. I seriously doubt they'd be pulling the old engine out with old, frayed ropes and rolling the thing onto a rubber dihngy to get it to shore if they had the income that is suggested here. … And besides.. even if they DO make that much.. good for them. They deserve it. They put out consistant, political preaching free, entertainment.

13. IMHO, your estimation is wrong. I know no sailors with such an income would not sail a 5000USD boat, and would not spend months of blood sweet and tears refitting that same 70s boat. Sailors with that kind of boat have usually an income below 2000USD per month.

17. They are renting an apartment while this is going on. If they were so rich they would have a team working on their boat. Love the content of the channel. 50k plus merch, ain’t much. Keep up the good work.

19. I think this is a bit high. But, I hope they make enough to buy a new boat soon. Yeah, it might hurt their channel a little, but I think they are entertaining enough to make it work. Besides, I hope they are investing enough that someday they can not worry about whether or not they are making enough on YouTube.
