Didn't understood in the first manouvre why they- I mean the crew and the marineros- were not able to fix the stern-lines in the beginning when the boat was already nearly perfectly docked. And then the hustle began.
The approach was good- nevertheless I would in this situation thought of approaching from the left- AGAINSTthe wind. The boat is much more under control then.
great approach in both cases, but failed to put engine off and just lock stern lines.
Fails? What are you talking about? Perhaps not perfect docking, but no fails here, except the posting of this clip.

Looking at the first yacht to come in, I think,regarding the conditions, they probably made the best of it….
Dropping the anchor from the bow about 50 mtrs from the mooring place could‘ve stopped the boat in time, but that is maby not allowed in that harbour….
I have lived in Podgora on the Dalmatian shore from ‘06 to ‘11….. both Bura and Yugo are winds that can’t be ignored….
Bura is probably the most dangerous one because it starts at full force from NOTHING!!!!!! (It is basically cold air that drops from the mountains, hence is off-shore…..)
Yugo is from the South and steadily builds up to become stronger and stronger….

Coming in stern first in high winds with the wind behind you????? There was enough room to come in bow first and to turn the boat later on warps. Get the boat stopped and argue later !
I coudn't do better in a millon years.
