Restricting the money of ordinary Russian citizens and placing sanctions that affect the lives of ordinary people is morally corrupt and evil. In a totalitarian regime, ordinary citizens do not have the means nor the capability of influencing their government. The media's hype of chasing down oligarchs that own Mega yachts, is the brain child of Jen Psaki. She sucessfully launched a viral media frenzy to sportify economic revenge to track and chase down the Mega yachts of Russia's oligarchy. This was done so the Biden administration would be put in a positive light within the minds of American citizens in order to bolster Approval poll ratings for implementing these sanctions. The reality is; these sanctions do nothing to Putin's war machine! As discussed in this interview, the main source of money for Putin's war is his oil and gas energy reserves.
Sanctions on Russia's public/private/business sector should stop immediately because the fate of the US dollar hangs in the balance. Also, the humanitarian crisis in some of the poorest regions of the world will blame the United States and the West for causing hunger and starvation. The blowback of this policy measure will only cause the citizens of Russia to rally around Putin for relief from "Western Economic Oppression".

If proper sanctions were put in place from the beginning, this war could possibly be over already.

What would proper sanctions look like? Sanctions and embargos on Russia's oil and gas industry and specific members (individuals) of the governing branch of Russia would have the desired effect; not superficial and cosmetically appealing "Poll Rating Policies" that take the Farmville approach to administrative politics. The world needs real results based on specific and targeted solutions; not fantasy "poll crops" concocted from political rhetoric and saber rattling.
Don't be decieved by "dead-beat" presidential poll cropping.

It's nothing but a media three-ring circus while Biden still trys to call his grandparents to remind them that the carnival is in town; the problem is: that carnival left Biden's hometown 70 years ago, and he thinks the Whitehouse is actually the Funhouse next to the farris wheel.

I have a question about these Oligarchs. Surely, some Oligarchs are Vladimir Putin's gang members, and some are not.
How could anyone make an assumption that all Oligarchs are a member of Vladimir Putin's gang? They cannot. It would not be common sense.

Vladimir Putin gang stole Russia government money every year (at Goldman Sachs Investment Bank in New York) by stealing a cut of the profit of the Russia government Investment Funds.
The other Oligarchs might have stolen Private money, not government money. So, they do not have the same source of income as the Vladimir Putin gang. Therefore, they did not join the Vladimir Putin gang. This is the possible situation in a Democratic Capitalist country like the Federation of Russia.
