Race designers are reactive, they wait until there's been enough deaths to do something about it, look at Formula Ones Halo For example which has now saved many lives… It's clear that some one is going to get killed on these boats when they crash into each other… what are designers waiting for? Do they think it will be good publicity to see one of our favorite racers cut in half… and then market the new revised model as safer bringing much attention to the sport at the expense of a life or two. Disgusting if you ask me
