A bowline w/ a tuck or you may get fd when slippery lines part ways, and if Plucky falls in toss him an anchor and gin, and come back in a couple o'days. The butterfly knot can hold a lot; tis the strongest knot you can make. But in a quick pinch, though old Pluky will wince, go thrice over, then 3 slip knots; quick unties for sailors who are somewhat baked.
