The Murphys pioneered summering on the south coast of France. On hot sunny days the locals would be looking to stay out of the sun. The Murphys would throw parties on the beach at their home near Antibes for their kids and their famous friends. This spawned a now famous local arts colony. Imagine being there before all the modern development.

… layers of memories here, for sure … like an oceanic caravel of a different sort of design … born for dream making upon a once ancient sea … loosely shaped as a 'wet' moon' or astronomically the 'bowl of water' or boat of Osiris' shape that a quarter moon takes on when the bottom of the moon appears to slide on it's bottom & manifests 'handles' turned down at the end … resembling a aquatic chariot of a drinking vessel … I would change her name from 'weatherbird' … to Gypsy … Louis Armstrong's … Gypsy …
