2. you need to learn how to "heave to" figure out the best config for your boat so you can leave it to its self & hide below when conditions get too bad. having a storm strategy for when you are in open water will make life much more comfortable & less risky.

5. I remember coming out from between two islands in the very n.w point of Indonesia, and soon as it opened up into the INDIAN OCEAN, we hit 25 foot swells, and that went on for 2 days. I traveled E, SE, for 14 days before I got off the boat. Was CRAZY. BUT WHAT AN EXPERIENCE. Cherish those moments, there not fun at the time, But great story’s to tell in the future. 11. Well, Brother, as they say, your developing sea legs. although it maybe hard on the nerves your gaining experience and skills and know how to know what to do when when your in harsh weather. Its what ya need to become a confident Sailors even though it's the last thing you want to have to go through its, want you need. I think by the sounds of things you came out of it unscathed and that is all that matters, right.

To the fright of a rumbling flashing lightening to wind gusting an blowing you about. Your trusty Captain an 1st Mate with a waggly tail an a nose for salt.. The Co-Captain checking the charts an direction, as the gale blew Minky about from starboard to port an the the waves an wind blowing a stink… The salty crew of SV/Minky Held Fast thru wind an waves an rain drops as big as sand dollars!! 27. Too bad you missed the Stromboli. Such an amazing place. But good for you you didn't go there with this weather. The ancorage is hard because this island just pops out of 2500m deap.
    We were there two years ago, the weather forcast was 25kts west, we ended up with 50 for 3 days up to 65. It wasn't fun…

28. You guys really need to wear life jackets and a harness and have them on before the storm approaches, bad things can happen fast on a boat so please keep safe.

30. Come on guys please run jackstays and clip on in that weather , there is no chance of a single person recovering a person overboard in those conditions. We would miss your videos. And as the previous comment said please wear the life jackets.In those storms and rough seas it should not be optional

    I think I'd prefer to stay out, drop the sails, and have plenty of space around us. Especially after seeing the footage from Corsica.

32. a funny time to mention it but do you have a spinnaker – or gennaker – or code zero – or any big light weight sails ? sometimes you seem a bit frustrated by your boat speed and i notice other catamarans have big lightweight sails ???

33. How are your windows holding up? My friend has a Countess 35 with similar ones and says he did an identical refurb and they are still leaking.

35. Thank goodness you are getting rid of that mad dog! A dog that bites it’s owner needs to be put down, the dog demands so much attention mind you this has been escalated by you both treating him the way you have , the dog cannot be trusted

36. Good footage guys got a bit wild out there for a while. Reminded me of sailing in the tropics off Darwin in australia during wet season storms. Really should consider using a harness and safety lines. Nothing fancy just basic place to hook onto when moving around in the wild stuff. I found scuba diving mask was pretty good in that sort of horizontal rain. Not the best look but at least it kept the rain out of the eyes. You should consider one of those portable low volume water makers run off a generator good enough to make clean drinking water. Saw some reviews online seem to get good reviews. Anyway take care and have fun.
