When I watch your channel I often think I would probably make that same mistake or already made it

I have rewired systems that just had a blown fuse or a corroded connector. I have assembled things backwards more times than I can remember and have searched for the source of a leak for weeks if not months.

Keep on keeping on it will all work out and be a great adventure and thanks for letting us follow along.

If you were able to make a cable to a switch for that windlass. And you want a remote up front… Get a plastic project box, a switch of similar type (Mometary) and some long wire and make your own remote control. At this point you know the system and wiring… Easy Peazy Button press-ezy…

Love your new boat. Get it out of the water and inspect hulls and through hulls. sail to a place that you can get all the parts needed to replace windows and fix hatches. Lots of things gonna need fixed. I hope you got a good deal on it.

Pretty cool I have always loved the look of the older Privileges and excited to see how you tackle the refit. They seem to built better than the majority of other cats. Curious how they would sail with the idea of taking a considerable amount of weight off thru technology like diy lithium, dump the generator, synthetic rigging etc. Even getting rid of holding tanks minus a small one for compliance, converting to 48v system for wire diameter reduction, should significantly reduce weight/complexity. Good luck and absolutely great choice in my opinion.
