He will never win. Should have accepted that collision for himself or the boat but not attribute it to a crew member. Lacks character and integrity.

What!!! On the prologue sail, daytime, this boat collided with a (150m ship) and tried to brush it off as (not a big ship", "painted blue" camouflaged. With all due respect my comments here are colored by his behaviour upon arrival in Cape Town, extremely rude interview there, topics of which he could have waited to express discreetly first to Don M. On the prologue sail, even if he was not on deck, bottom line, he's the captain of the ship where the buck stops. Tells me he has not managed his crew well when crew is not keeping watch. Fast forward to the 2nd leg arrival in Cape Town, by then this guy had turned into a "karen". Almost all commenters have given him a pass for that, citing all possible pressures bearing down on Tomy, but IMHO, he does not merit one. Watch the interview with Don. Hope it's still on YT.
This is interesting 6 months later. Abhilash decided not to install a weather fax. Using hand drawn charts instead. But after the second gate at Cape Town he was stressed and vitriolic about the lack of weather information.
