Hey Dude. Have you tried just changing the oil on the dinghy motor and just running it? The water may be from something else. As long as you flush every thing in your fuel line with petrol, you should be good.( I'm assuming its a 4 stroke motor.)

As for the engine, I would replace the plug, and oil. Run it at pretty high revs for a good 30 minutes, and check the oil. It is probably related to the wrong fuel.

As for the fridge there is only a few things that can be wrong and if possible start from the easiest first. Try adding refrigerant if you can get it. If you can get gauges then I suspect someone out here could walk you through all the other things.
