Use your boat hook to undo the lazy jack from the battens, so you won’t have to struggle bringing the sail up and down a few times…or, you can just slack the leeward lazy jack when raising the sail..

I just enjoyed your trip. to Catalina Island so much … Oh how I do miss that Island , so much fun and looks like you had a great time.. makes me wish I was there too… but I am getting North Star ready to head south to the Caribbean .
