So i have issues with the double un-skeged rudders, especially in an exploration boat? what are your thoughts, and would a Garcia 54 not have worked?

i was up at makkum last week looking at a koopamns 60. the brokers idea of ocean ready was very different to mine unfortunatley. long way to go from NZ.
however youre right the dutch are very good at aluminium and usually really good communicators.
an orion would be my pick or aluminium catamaran if i had the budget.
have you had any trouble with the recent aluminium shortage and price hike?

I’m working on a 30 year old Ovni which was left bare on the inner hull and is pitted just from condensation mixed with dirt and dust. Areas that where painted are perfect. I would always paint the inner hull without fail. Providing it is prepared properly. I’ve not heard if you are painting or not but thought I should say. Someone in the life of your boat will hate you if you don’t!
