I’ve “done that, been there”, once with my first boat when I decided to move my boat to a sea way to lean the barnacles off and clean the bottom. However, my horribly fouled prop didn’t have enough push to get me the whole way, so had the joy of a night laying on the side, …just like that. It was kinda fun. I should have checked the tide chart. No, ……didn’t have one.

If you’re using Navionics Charts if you mark the spot on the GPS call him up or send him an email and tell him exactly where and tell him how much the chart is out as I took the depth on one of their charts up at Rainbow Beach which is Fraser island near Queensland Australia Where the charts at 2 m at low tide there was only 40 cm at low tide which is 6’6” but it was 1‘4“ I don’t know how many other people have been trapped by their charts but you pay top dollar for them Tony
