So if you stubbornly think you have the right of way you just keep going and destroy your boat and possibly kill or injure yourself. Unbelievable! The yacht captain probably didn't see him and the smaller boat is more maneuverable than the giant yacht anyway.

The overtaking vessel should always do so as to not cause an accident.
The little boat was on the big boats port side which is red so should give way.
The bigger boat is less manoeuvrable.
In this case they are both at fault and should have done avoidance manoeuvres…

Those boat designs where the bow is lower than the rest are the worst. All of them end up stuffing and we always see them taking on water and or sinking
