I couldn't agree more that the cockpit design of the 440 was a deal breaker. I couldn't fit through that space eitherand it would annoy the heck out of me having to walk all the way around to the port side each time I wanted to get to the companionway. Also the off set asymmetrical cockpit table would have driven my OCD absolutely bonkers. I wasn't as much of a fan of the interior as I had thought I would be from the photos too. Nice boat for sure. Just not for me. I have to agree with Chris on this one. But my least favorite was the Beneteau 40.1. Won't go into it here but I was the most disappointed with that vessel sad to say. To sum it up it was way smaller inside than I would expect from a 40 footer. There were 38 footers (Jeanneau and Dufour) that were larger inside. At least they felt bigger. That and $5 will buy you a cup of coffee. Your mileage may vary.
