I feel sorry for the b*gger. It's not his fault that Covid happened although buying a boat so close to the beginning of the production run was always risky. The bottom line is I am not sure how many people – including the two of them – are really as excited by the glacial progress as they have to make out. Roll on end of Q1 '23 or whenever their boat will actually get finished.

I've chartered a 1260 and there is a lot to like about it but i absolutely hated the helm.. you really need to be higher up on a cat for decent visibility. The other thing is that it feels really detached from the sails… lastly its terrible coming into a marina in terms of visibility.. actually the worse I've been on.

I really like what Plukky has come up with on his ElCano challenge… that looks impressive.

Everything always on someone else’s boat. I guess you are still another year out? Don’t understand your going on about visibility. This is a feature of the boat and always has been so really redundant.

At night, with rain will be a thing. My opinion, it’s a sailboat, you can’t control the boat from the Nav, but you can monitor.

So the nav stations isn’t the answer.

Wind shield wipers?

While we sail around the world on our beautiful monohull, my son and daughter-in-law live in Ho Chi Minh. My son drives a motorbike and it frightens the hell out of me thinking of him negotiating those busy/flooded streets – you have just added to that fear!!! Good
