For now, unless something with even better compromises to suit me shows up, I think I've settled on the Monohull I'm getting, as the Agent is very keen to assist me with all the Mods I need for Disabled me on a Sailboat. It's unexpected tbh, it got me right out of left field, it's Privisionally a Bavaria C45. I just love the below waterline hull, grabbed me right away. Could use a bit more Shoal to the Draft but It's a compromise I can live with . regarding the sluggish Raymarine MFD Performance. SD Cards die very fast if you do lots of writes to them, so in line with a comment below, it may be worth Grabbing some not too huge very fast cards, and retiring them early to use in less demanding storage roles for backups and and such. If SD cards are only used for Reads, they basically never wear out. My father was Chairman of the Local British Legion Branch and I did a Full Backup of everything for the branch on SD, and it's still readable over 25 years later. Every CD backup is unreadable.

Our MFD was slow like that with navionics charts. Once we switched to C-Map charts, it was very responsive.

WRT the plotter…Could it be a slow or faulty SD-card, perhaps? Has it always been like that? I have a similar (I think), and that is not like that.
